Texture & Scent:

This shower gel is runny just like your usual shower gel fresh out of the bottle. It foams up nicely too!

The foam bubbles:

This has a lovely citrusy scent that i like, and the scent lasts quite awhile too! :)

Packaging:

This shower gel comes in a plastic bottle with a pump:

The dispensing pump:

Price & Availability:
This shower gel is priced at RM59 each, and is available at all Cellnique stockists.

My $0.02:

I think my eyes literally flew wide open when i saw the price tag stuck to the side of this shower gel. At RM59 for 250ml, this cetainly qualifies as a really expensive shower gel! And as with all expensive things, one will have some kind of (high) expections prior to trying out the item right?

I'm sorry Cellnique, but I'll have to say that I'm left a little disappointed. While this is quite a lovely shower gel that smells nice and didn't dry out my skin, I didn't feel the need to skip moisturizer altogether! It's hard for me to explain why, but i'm just simply not feeling this shower gel! :/ I find myself reaching for my Cassis Rose shower gel from The Body Shop more often than this!

Don't get me wrong, this is not a bad shower gel at all. In fact, I think if they were to sell it at half the price this product would have appealed to the masses more! I won't repurchase this for myself when I run out because of this. At that price it's gotta do more than just smell nice (maybe help clean the bathroom while it's sitting in there waiting for its turn to be useful? :P)!

This item is sent to yours truly by Cellnique for review purpose. I am in no way affiliated with them nor do I get compensated monetarily for this post. Kindly purchase at your own discretion.

Product Review: The Face Shop CO-Q10 Essential Mask Sheet

At a Glance:
Price: RM6.90 (approx. US$2.09)
Website: http://www.thefaceshopen.com/
Weight: 22ml / 0.74 Fl. Oz.
Made in: Korea
Likes: Moisturizes ok.
Gripes: Contains alcohol, overpowering fragrance, stung my face a little, mask doesn't fit face well.
Repurchase: No
Jenn's Rating: 2.5 Stars! Didn't notice any visible difference after using! :P

Ingredients:

Product Description

A CO-Q10 Mask Sheet for supple skin

What is CO-Q10?

Coenzyme Q10 (Co-Q10) is a fat-soluble, vitamin-like substance in every human cell. It is involved in key biochemical reactions that product energy in cells, helping to keep skin supple and facial contours beautiful.

The concentrations of Coenzyme Q10 in this gentle mask sheet are effectively absorbed into skin to leave it supple and smooth.

Directions:

Actual Product Pic:

Texture & Scent:
This mask is quite wet fresh out of the pack. Once i smoothed it unto my face, my nostrils are greeting with an overpowering scent of alcohol and flowers!! >.< This stung my face a little too.

Packaging:

This mask is individually packed into their respective foil packs and is sold by the piece.

Like the other masks from this brand, the mouth part is ridiculously huge:

Time Test:
15-20 minutes!

Price & Availability:
This mask is priced at RM6.90 each and is available at all The Face Shop outlets.

My $0.02:

Oh dear, the masks from this range haven't been doing very well for mua have they?? >.<

First the Hyaluronic Acid one, now this one! Each with their own different set of complaints!

While this one didn't leave a sticky film like the former, this reeks of alcohol. Doesn't help that the fragrance in this product is quite overpowering as well! So the end result? Super teary eyes!!

And then came the stinging!! While that sensation was mild, it persisted until the end of the 20 minute mark!! :(

This is how i look after using this:

Reddish face from the stinging - thankfully no breakouts!! >.<

Ok enough bashing this product! On the flip side, this does moisturize alright! And the price is not too bad! :) But because I cannot stand the scent and alcohol in this product, i won't be repurchasing!

Anddddd I'm Back!! :D :D

I'm super elated to be able to visit my favouritest place on earth again (read about my previous "adventures" here and here)! :D I've been there countless times now, and each experience is unique and just simply wonderful!! I can't get enough of this beautiful place!! Hehehe!! :D

As usual, I stuffed my face silly with the mouth watering local food! :D

Food:

Food:

And more food:

For the sake of our friend who have never been to Bangkok before, we did some touristy stuff too:

One of the icons of Bkk... anybody knows where this is?? :D

Of course, what is Bangkok without the shopping right?? :D

Shopping at Pratunam market! =X

This is what we bought from 3 different markets:

Super super love my new dresses!! Hehehe!! Sooooo cheap somemore!! :D :D

And of course, we did get ourselves some NARS too:

Cookie got two presents as well - a chew toy (which she made many holes in within 5 minutes) and a pretty bow:

Don't be fooled by her smile though, i think she doesn't like it very much! >.<

Act kesian max!! >.<

And ohh, i tried this:

Char Siew Pao flavoured chips... which is officially the most disgusting chips i've ever had!! Blergh!! >.<

After sweating it out in the markets and pigging out like mad, i went from this:

... to this:

Arghh... so fat!!! And that zit!! *faints* The coconut is AMAZING BTW... so sweet and refreshing!! :D

On a more sombre note, i'm really saddened to see my favourite mall reduced to this:

Hope it gets restored soon!!

Also, I'm heartbroken to learn that they don't sell my beloved Clairol's Herbal Essences shampoo anymore! The Neutrogena Wave is nowhere in sight too!! T_T Oh well, all good things have to come to an end i guess!! :(

Thats all for now!! I really need to get myself back to reality... wish i can stay there longer! lol!! Happy Friday everyone, and have a great weekend!! :D

Jenn's Rating: ! 4 Stars! Me likey! :D

Directions:

Actual Product Pic:

Texture & Scent:
This mask is quite wet, so be careful when you're removing it from the pack to prevent the essence from dripping! :) Like the Original one, this one needs some patting for the essence to sink in fully. It's not as sticky, and the "bouncy" effect is not as pronounced as well! :D

This doesn't really have a scent to it, but i can actually smell the alcohol in it! >.<

Packaging:

This mask comes in a box of 4! Each mask is invidivually packed in their respective foil packs:

This mask fits my face quite well! :D

Time Test:
10 - 15 minutes.

Price & Availability:
This mask is priced at RM39.90 (approx. US$11.08) for a box of 4 masks. It's currently only available at Guardian.

Usage:
This is perfect for a weekly treat or before an event to give your skin a lovely glow! :D

My $0.02:

I know i said that i won't purchase products with alcohol in it, but i really loved the Original one (and i got suckered in by the SALE word) so i decided to try this out too! :D

Like the original one, this moisturizes quite well (not as well as the former, but still quite well! lol!! XD). It also brightens up my face beautifully! :D

This is how i look after using this:

Sorry for the weird looking expression... i just woke up! :P

Super brightened face!! I really like it!! :D

All in all methinks that this is a really good sheet mask, but would be even better without the alcohol in it! I might repurchase though, because I really liked this! :D
