Product Description

A Hyaluronic acid Mask Sheet for ultimate skin hydration

What is Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic Acid is the key water maintaining substances in human skin and can bind 100-1000 times its own weight in moisture, keeping skin silky soft.

The concentrations of Hyaluronic acid in this gentle mask sheet are effectively absorbed into skin for the ultimate in hydration.

Actual Product Pic:

Texture & Scent:
This mask is really, really wet, so remember to squeeze the mask a little before pulling it out from the foil pack to avoid any wastage! :D This leaves an unpleasant film on the skin that takes agessss to go away!! Ewww!!

This has a fresh scent that is quite strong, but it dissipates quickly so it's not an issue for me.

Packaging:

This mask is individually packed into their respective foil packs and is sold by the piece. I happen to have a piece from Korea - and it looks slightly different from the one we get here:

Like the other masks from this brand, the mouth part is ridiculously huge:

Time Test:
15-20 minutes!

Price & Availability:
This mask is priced at RM6.90 each and is available at all The Face Shop outlets.

My $0.02:

After two weeks of Hada Labo, this is a tribute to the "in"-gredient now - Hyaluronic Acid! :D

The reviews I've read about this one so far are a mixed bag of raves and rants. So which bandwagon do I belong to?

Unfortunately, I'll have to join Team Rant! While this one moisturizes ok (could do better to be honest), it left a pretty nasty feeling film on my skin that takes quite some time before it sinks in!

This is how i look after using this mask (if you squint you might see some of that tacky essence on my face):

For a mask that claims to provide the ultimate hydration, I find myself a little disappointed at the moisturizing properties of this one! That coupled with the horribly unpleasant film it leaves on my skin makes this one a firm NO when it comes repurchasing! :(

  1. I love your posts when you show how well the sheet mask fit your face. It's very helpful! The mouth gap IS really huge o-o.. lol. Sorry to hear that this mask didn't work out for you. Leftover filmy feelings are never a good thing. Your after picture looks fine though. ^^ Thank you for sharing!

  5. I join Team Rant too. It just didn't do anything for me, despite the hyaluronic acid claims.

  6. I've tried a similar mask like this one, from its range.
I find that the sheet is too dry and not really good in moisturising, unlike others.

  9. i received this mask as a freebie when i purchased my laneige skin care set and was eager to try it.

Like with you, it did leave an unpleasant film on my face after i used it. However it made my face glowy and soft. I'm thinking of reviewing it on my blog ^-^
