Texture & Scent:

This moisturizer feels more gel-like than creamy, so you only need a little product to cover your entire face. I find this cream quite sticky (especially when used together with the Lotion from the same line), and like the lotion you'll need to pat this one in for quite sometime before it stops feeling tacky!

This one doesn't really have a scent to it! :)

The one pictured here is a sample. The real thing comes in a jar with a screw off cap! :)

Price & Availability:
This moisturizer costs RM58.90 per jar, and should be available at most Guardian outlets!

My $0.02:

Along with a cute sample of the Lotion, the folks at Hada Labo threw in a sample sachet of this cream too! My moisturizer was finishing at that time, so this little surprise is wonderful and timely!! :D

The little packet of product is enough for about 5 uses. And after going through that sachet, i'll have to say that I'm left a little disappointed by this product.

Don't get me wrong, this is not a bad product. It does moisturizes ok and it absorbs into the skin quickly. However, given the heavy advertisement on its hydrating properties, I find that this one doesn't really fulfill my hydrating needs - especially so as a night cream. Maybe I'm already used to the wonderful effects of the H20 Face Oasis Hydrating Facial Treatment or the Biotherm White D-Tox [Bright-Cell] Intense Brightening Hydra-Plumping Cream, both of which hydrates my skin beautifully and never fails to give me comfortably plump skin in the morning.

It's also quite sticky, especially so if you layer it over the lotion from the same range. Needless to say that its not the most pleasant feeling in the world...

That being said, I do think that this will work ok for me as a day cream. But since I'm always rushing off to work, I don't think I have the time nor patience to slowly pat this in completely before dashing out to another day of madness at work. I won't repurchase because of this.

  1. sounds like a good product other than it being sticky

  2. It's not bad Roxy! It just wasn't moisturizing enough for my dry skin, and yeah the stickiness is a bummer too!

  3. wow, this brand is living up to its name! I've recently read about this and I am so intrigued! :)

  4. This is a great drugstore brand Nikki! :D

Do you all have this over there?

  5. awh, and I've been considering this one! I'll give it a pass then. thanks for the review!

  6. Yeah i think it won't be moisturizing enough for you too!! You're most welcome Connie!! :)

  7. I found it very moisturizing and too heavy for my preference (oily skin). I wouldn't really use it for daytime. And like you, I didn't like all the patting lol It didn't quite
    dry/'unsticky' itself after patting

  8. Oh dear! So this cream is too heavy for oily skins and not moisturizing enough for dry skins!! >.<

Yeah the sticky feeling doesn't really disappear even after patting the cream in!
