Texture & Scent:
This facial spray feels just like spraying water on your face! lol!! Once on your skin, it feels refreshing and soothing at the same time. This doesn't have a scent.

Packaging:

This facial spray comes in a tin aerosol spray can. Here's the outlet:

Price & Availability:
This facial spray is priced at RM55 / US$16 for a 300ml spray bottle. There're also the 50ml and 150ml ones available, and those go for RM19 and RM39 each respectively. This should be available at most Watsons / Guardian / Pharmacies. Girls in the US can buy it off Drugstore.com too! :)

My $0.02:

I never bought the hype about this spray until i tried it out myself (ok, scream Doubting Thomas at me already!! haha!! :P). I mean, just how GOOD would WATER be right?

I was WRONG! This soothes my skin like no other, especially after shaving / plucking sessions where the skin's irritated and sore! And the most miraculous part of this? After using this religiously twice a day before moisturizer, i notice that i don't get as many blackheads as before already!! Don't know what is the logic behind this, but i'm loving it so i'm not complaining!! :D

It's also perfect to soothe heat rash! I had a bout of those when i was scouring the infamously hot Chatuchak market in Bangkok, and this really helped keep them as comfortable as i get can! :D Even the husband and another guy friend couldn't resist stealing this for a few quick spritzes to cool down! :D

Needless to say i'll be repurchasing this again and again and again and i think you get it now. lol! :D I like this enough to even not feel like trying out the other facial sprays anymore!! :S

  6. I wanna get this too! I've just started paying more attention to Avene products :)
I learned a new trick which is to spritz and apply moisturizer straight away. The moisturizer traps the water in there and my skin feels uber hydrated the next day! Try it and let me know if it works for you too :D

  9. aNn: IMHO it doesn't really replace toners as it doesn't clean or prep your face before other skin care items! It just calms and provides extra moisture to your face! :D

  21. I have a few of these sprays. Had one that's supposedly from Swiss Alps, then tried Evian and Avene. haha, in my opinion, all three are the same. To me, it feels like just water. Not much difference. I prefer using light weight hydro creams. ^^

Using a can of spritz was my first form of moisturizer. I would spray this after toner, then apply Vitamin C cream, and that's it for moisturizing. =)

  25. I am using this too....it's great to cool down in our hot weather. And since it's only (thermal) water, I use it on my little girl when we are outdoors. She loves it and always asks for a spritz or 2.

and when my skin feels irritated, I just spray it on frequently and voila! It's like instant remedy!

  29. Hi Jenn,

I have a very doink question to ask regarding all these sprays. I know the way you use it is before your moisturiser, so you spray it and before it dries you apply your moisturiser. How about if I want to use it as a hydrating mist during mid-day? Do I spritz it on and leave it (I heard leaving water to dry off will make the skin even drier as when the water evaporates, it takes away moisture from our skin too?)..or do I have to like pat it in (makes me feel gross as there is already sunblock and probably sebum on my skin)..or do I spritz it on and then just lightly absorb any residue with a piece of tissue? (will anything actually go into my skin to rehydrate it if I do it this way?)

Sorry for the super long question..hehe..
