Texture & Scent:

Packaging:

This mask is individually packed into their respective foil packs! :)

This mask fits my face quite well, but is a little big! :D

And this is how their Smart-Fit fabric look like up close:

Like a kitchen towel! hehehe! :D

Time Test:
15 minutes is all you need! :)

Price & Availability:

Usage:
I can see myself using this one for a quick radiance boost once in a while! :D

My $0.02:

I put off buying this one for the longest time ever because i heard that this stings the skin! However, after hearing so many raves for this one, i cracked and gave in! haha! :D

I'm so happy that i did give this one a chance! I love how moisturizing it is, and it softens and brightens my face so well!!

This is how i look after using this mask:

Hello glowy face! :D

Well, to tell the truth this one did sting my skin a little, but it's quite mild, and it goes away once you remove the mask. Another thing i didn't like about this one is how expensive it is... this is probably the most expensive mask i've used so far!! haha!! :D

All in all methinks that this is a great brightening mask! I'll definitely repurchase! :D

Thus ends a chapter of my life...

So i'm back in Penang for good now! Looking back, the past year has been nothing short of wonderful, and i truly thank God for that!

If somebody were to tell me 2 years ago that i'll get married and wind up in India, i'll probably be laughing so hard that i might have gotten whatever i was eating at that moment up my nose and out through my nostrils. But like they say, never say never cuz you never know whats gonna happen! :P

So, to sum up my experience over here in India, the place where:

1. i developed an addiction liking for ice cold Buds:

Only 50 Rupees each (approx. RM4)!! So smooth and light... mmmmm, and i don't even like beer prior to this!! :P

2. i saw one of the most beautiful sunsets in my life:

3. i learnt how not to take certain things for granted:

And oh, ONE friggin roll of loopaper goes for RM1.50 over here, no joke!

4. Gems of the old still stand proud

Chennakeshava Temple in Mysore. This temple is 900 years old!

5. impossibly thin bread exists.

Don't even try buttering it! You'll just end up buttering your fingers.

6. i learnt not to trust just anybody...

... especially Auto Rickshaw drivers!!

7. the crowds can be a little maddening sometimes...

HELP!!

8. i need an umbrella whilst cooking when it rains

it wasn't funny at all when you were experiencing it!!

9. the traffic is HORRENDOUS!!

Sitting on an auto is nothing short of an adventure! How close can you go? :D

10. the weather is gloriously wonderful! :D

Only for Bangalore ya! Not sure about other parts of India! haha! :D

So with these memories, i end one chapter of my life! It's great to be home... and i can't wait to find out what the future has in place for me! Wish me all the best ya! :D

I went to MAC yesterday and was shooooooo happy to see that the Naked Honey Lipglasses i want were still available!! I think i manage to nab the last Queen Bee there! *squeals in delight*

I notice though that they have removed the name stickers on the boxes so now the item names were printed directly on them boxes:

Me no like!! :(

I also manage to get the Garnier roll on eye thingy cuz it's selling REALLY cheaply over here! :D

And finally, after reading Connie's glowing review for the LUSH porridge soap, i HAD to try it out for myself! hehehe! :D

So here it is, a family pic of my last haul in India:

Product Review: Asience Deep Nourish Shampoo & Conditioner

At a Glance:
Price: RM14.90 (approx. US$4.03) each
Website: Kao.com/my/asience
Weight: 220ml
Made in: Japan
Likes: Makes my hair shiny!
Gripes: Drying!
Repurchase: No!
Jenn's Rating: 2.5 Stars! This one's probably more suited for oilier hair...

Ingredients:

Shampoo:

Conditioner:

Product Description:

A perfect blend of natural and precious nourishing ingredients to penetrate deeply into hair fibers to repair and nourish.

Actual Product Pic:

These are SAMPLES.

Texture & Scent:

This shampoo feels quite creamy, and it lathers up moderately well!

The conditioner feels a little more solid than the usual conditioners, but it spreads well!

Both products have this flowery scent that i don't like!! :P

Packaging:

Needless to say the ones i have are samples! haha! :D The real thing comes in a bottle with a flip top cap. There's also the larger pump bottle version available! :)

Price & Availability:
These two products are priced at RM14.90 (approx. US$4.03) each for 220ml. There's the larger 550ml pump bottle ones available, and those go for RM26.80 (approx. US$7.24) each. I've seen this product going on sale at Watsons and Jusco! :D

My $0.02:

I've had high hopes for this one, since i've heard several raves plus the adverts are really promising! :D

Let me start by describing my hair. My hair is almost waist long, oily at the top (since coming back to Malaysia) and quite fried at the bottom! I haven't colored or permed my hair in the past year. A picture to put things into perspective:

So, by using the shampoo and conditioner, i was hoping that i'm able to restore the ends so that they don't look so dry and damaged! :P Unfortunately, they made my hair even drier!! *screams*

Here're some pics for you to see for yourself:

This is my hair before:

And this is after:

And here's a side by side comparison up close (left is before):

As you can see, my hair's got those darned white dots (and one horribly obvious split end if you can spot it) after using this one!! *screams* Also, i didn't like the smell of this one... it reminded me of an old lady's perfume!!

Well, there are good things about this one as well! This one actually did make my hair look quite shiny! And i like how affordable it is! However, since it did not work for my hair, i will not repurchase!

ps: so thankful that i got to try this out instead of buying them!! Otherwise it's almost RM30 down the drain! phewwww!! :P

And i'm off to Indiyah again!

I'll be going back to India in abit, and back in 5 days' time! I might not have any internet connection between this period of time, so please bear with interrupted transmission meanwhile ya! :D

Don't worry, there'll still be scheduled posts to keep you entertained while i'm gone! :D

So this is it, wish me a safe trip... and no H1N1 for me!! hahaha! XD

ps: should have posted this yesterday to bring "Masking Mondays" to a whole new level, lol!! :D

p.ps: am i wearing it correctly btw? Which side is the front?! >.<

Loreal White Perfect Pearl Liquid Foundation Swatches!

Here're the swatches for all 4 shades of the Loreal White Perfect Pearl Liquid Foundation! :D

As usual, the swatches above are taken without flash, and the ones below, with! :)

I was personally smitten by this foundation!! Although slightly thicker than the Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals Liquid Foundation, it still spreads smoothly and doesn't feel heavy at all!! The G3 Golden Beige is an almost perfect match for me too!! :D

This foundation costs RM54.90 each, and should be available at all Loreal displayers at Watsons / Guardian / Your local supermarket! :)

What do you think of this foundation?? Hit?? Miss?? :D

My $0.02:

I personally think that all 5 masks from the Imperial Herbs line is quite good! And this one is no exception! :D

True to its claim, i feel that this one is the most moisturizing out of the 5! After using this, my skin feels really comfortable!

Sadly, this one doesn't brighten the face as much as i'd like it to! It would be nice if it does! :D

This is how i look after using this mask:

Overall i think that this is a quality mask that everyone should at least try out once! :D I will repruchase this one, but not before trying out other masks since there's so many out there! :D
