Product Description

Vitamin C.

^^Yup, that's all they said about it! :P

Actual Product Pic:

Sorry, the text on the lid is kinda faded!! :P

Pigmentation & Color:

I'm using the lightest shade, which is the 01 Light translucent shade. This may look very light in the pic above, but once applied on it just blends into my skin really naturally!!

Like all loose powders, the coverage for this one is very sheer, so do use a foundation underneath if you need more coverage! :)

Texture & Scent:

This powder is quite finely milled for a drugstore product!! It goes on really buttery smooth!! There used to be a very faint citrusy smell when i first bought it, but the scent has long disappeared! :)

Packaging:

This powder comes in a slightly opaque plastic container with a removable plastic sift.

It comes with a rather soft sponge too! :D

The sponge applies the powder quite well, but for best results, i recommend applying this with a kabuki brush or a big fluffy brush to set your makeup with!! :D

Tip: to avoid from dispensing too much powder everytime you tip the container over, do not peel off the sticker covering the holes on the sifter when you first buy it! Instead, use a needle and pierce the sticker over each hole on the sifter!

Looks something like this:

Looks like this on the other side:

So instead of letting the powder flow through the large holes on the sifter, the powder will go through the smaller holes on the sticker. This way, you'll definitely have more control over the amount of powder dispensed!

Time Test:
This powder lasts about 4-6 hours on my face (depending on the weather) before it disappears, which is alright. I don't have a problem with shine for most days since i'm almost always in an air conditioned room (back in Malaysia anyways! :D), so i actually don't know how long can this powder control the oilies for! :)

Price & Availability:
This powder is priced at RM55 (approx. US$15), and should be available at the Loreal makeup shelves at most Watsons / Guardian or your local supermarket! :)

Usage:
I'm a lazy girl, so i usually use this in place of foundation! :P I also use this to set my makeup!! Last but not least, i sometimes apply a thick layer of this loosely unto my lower lids to catch any shadow fallouts when i'm doing a smokey eye! :)

My $0.02:
This is actually an excellent drugstore product!! Though it is not exactly cheap for drugstore standards, you're definitely getting your money's worth with this. I use this almost on a daily basis for more than 3 years, and i hardly go through 1/3 of the tub:

I have THIS much left after 3 years!!

Also, i love how glowy my face looks when i have this on! It's not shimmery, in fact, it is rather matte, but it somehow makes my face impart this, hmm, soft focus glow? lol! I love how finely milled this is too!! This is definitely a drugstore gem IMHO, but i heard it's getting harder and harder to find nowadays? I sure hope that they don't discontinue this wonderful product!
