Product Description:

Aquasource Eyes is an ultra-moisturizing water gel containing active moisturizing ingredients locked inside it, which continuously hydrates the skin so as to freshen up the expression. Drenched in water, the skin is simultaneously revitalized with a concentrate of spa water activity based on Pure Extract of Thermal Plankton and trace elements.
Aquasource Eyes is also a sensation of comfort and well-being provided by the combination of a plant oil (apricot oil) and an active decongesting agent, sericoside.
Day after day, the eye contours are refreshed and moisturized, puffiness is reduced and the fine lines caused by dehydration are filled.

Actual Product Pic:

Texture & Scent:

This eye gel is quite fluid, so it spreads easily around your eye area! It has a very light scent that's almost undetectable when you apply it!

Packaging:

This eye gel comes in a squeeze tube with a tapered dispensing tip, which is great because you can control how much product you want!

Time Test:
This eye gel sinks in almost immediately after you apply it, and my eye area remained hydrated for more than 12 hours! :)

Price & Availability:
This product is priced at RM120 (approx uS$35.30), which i think is ok for what it offers. It's available at all Biotherm counters and on Strawberrynet.com for US$35.50.

Usage:
I use this eye gel twice a day around the eye area.

My $0.02:
A lovely friend gave me a sample of this and I'm hooked since!! I love how light it is, yet it moisturizes so well and got rid of all those nasty dehydration lines the very next day! The price is about right too! It did nothing for the puffiness under my eyes though...

In a Nutshell:

A lightweight gel that moisturizes amazingly well!!

Likes: Easily absorbed gel, good packaging, excellent moisturizer
Gripes: Does not depuff the eyes as claimed :(
Repurchase: Yes!

Rating:
4.5 Stars ! Near HG stuff!!

Tutorial: How to apply eyeshadow! :)

This is a simple tutorial on how to apply eyeshadow, as requested by Winnie :)

There're no hard and fast rules on what is the "correct" way of applying eyeshadows. As long as it works for you, it goes! The key to perfect eyeshadow application is to practise and experiment to find your "sweet spot"! :)

Ok, without further ado, here it is! I'll attempt to create a simple neutral smokey look that can work for both day and night! You'll need:
- an eye base / primer (optional, but highly recommended! these bases help the eyeshadows to adhere better to your eyelids, make them last longer on your lids, plus make the colors pop!)
- a blending brush
- 3 eyeshadows:
- one highlighter es (a creamy light beige is perfect)
- one lighter es
- one darker es for contrast

These are the stuff i used for my tutorial:

1. Elianto Blending Brush
2. Benefit F.Y.Eye! (primer)
3. MAC Solar White es (highlighter)
4. MAC Satin Taupe es (lighter es)
5. MAC Charred es (darker es)

Step 1: Scoop out a little eye primer with your ring finger

Step 2: Gently apply the primer to your lids with your ring finger. Blend it in so that there're no visible edges

Step 3: With your blending brush, pick up the highlighter es from the pan

Step 4: Apply the highlighter es all over your lids, excluding the crease

Looks something like this now:

Step 5: Pick up the lighter es with your blending brush

Step 6: Apply the lighter es on the inner half of your crease:

Looks something like this:

Eyes closed and opened

Step 7: Pick up the darker es with your brush and apply it to the outer half of your crease:

Step 8: Apply the darker es onto the fold of your crease too!

Apply eyeliner, mascara, and you're done! :) The final result:

Looks subtle right? But look how different it is with and without eyeshadow:

The shadows make my eye look deep set and defined! Oh makeup, how i love thee! :)

Hope this helps ya!! :D

ps: i know, i know, my skin is just horrible right now!! try not to stare at the huge zit on my nose that's threatening to turn me into Rudolph. My lower lip is soo chapped as well. I shalt not drink so much ever again :S

A compact of six shades that convey the brilliance of the designer, Manish. The gold-coloured compact has a fuchsia lid decorated with heart-shaped gems dropped in the middle of a golden petal burst pattern. The outer carton features illustrated elements of Indian culture. Limited edition.

Actual Product Pic:

Pigmentation & Color (Plus Swatches! :D):

There're 6 colors in this palette:
Nylon - Pale gold with icy metallic shimmer - Frost, Permament
Going Bananas - Soft lemon yellow - Frost, LE - Repromote from C-Shock
Playful - Bright clean pink - Satin, LE - Repromote from Barbie Loves MAC
Bitter - Vivid bright golden green flecked with shimmer - Velvet, Permanent
Electric Eel - Vivid bright blue flecked with shimmer - Satin, Permanent
Deep Truth - Very real truthful dark blue - Frost, Permanent

All 6 colors have rather decent payoff, with Nylon and Going Bananas having excellent pigmentation.

Swatches:

Packaging:

This blush comes in the beautiful tiny palette (only about 3.5 inches long) with lovely crystal hearts embedded unto the surface!

The mirror!!

The brush it came with is quite stiff and dense... which makes it a little hard to use!

I love the box it came in too! :D

The overall feel of the palette is quite solid, but the insides were not as finely crafted as it should be!

The edges of the mirror are clearly visible from the top, which is not so appealing. The shadows were not uniformly pressed as well, the sides seem to "overflow" to the top! hmph!!

Texture:
I'm sooo glad that MAC didn't throw any nasty Lustres into this palette (which they're really fond of doing everytime!)!! All 6 shadows go on smoothly, with Deep Truth requiring a little more blending because it's a little more chalky than usual (just a little).

Time Test:
Like all MAC shadows, these shadows lasts the whole day with a base, which is great! :)

Price & Availability:
This product is priced at US$38 for 6 shadows and a pretty palette, which is worth it! :D 4 out of the 6 colors are permenant, you can actually purchase those separately if you missed this LE palette out. This is available at all MAC counters / Pro Stores / Maccosmetics.com.

Usage:
The possibilies are endless with this palette!! i can do a colorful, neutral or smokey look with it! :D

My $0.02:
I knew i HAD to get this palette because i've been wanting to get the Nylon, Electric Eel, Bitter and Deep Truth eyeshadows for the longest time ever! Like most palettes, this offers a great deal because if you were to purchase the shadows individually it would have costed ALOT more! Furthermore the packaging is so pretty! haha! This is one of the best palettes IMHO that MAC has released so far within this two years because all 6 shadows have rather good pigmentation and texture, and no lousy Lustres! :D

In a Nutshell:

A super versatile palette that looks really pretty! :D

Likes: Lovely packaging, good pigmentation and texture, lasts long
Gripes: LE, Insides of the palette a little roughly made
Repurchase: Yes! But it would be impossible! lol! :D

Actual Product Pic:

Pigmentation & Color (Plus Swatches! :D):

This color is described as Clearly Pink on the website, which is just what it is! This is a sheertone, so it goes on sheerly, but it's definitely buildable! It gives me a very natural flush minus all the shimmers, which is really lovely for a natural look!
