Pigmentation & Color (Plus Swatches! :D):

This color is described as Clearly Pink on the website, which is just what it is! This is a sheertone, so it goes on sheerly, but it's definitely buildable! It gives me a very natural flush minus all the shimmers, which is really lovely for a natural look!

Actual Color:

Packaging:

This blush comes in the regular MAC flip-top pot, but with the lovely heart motive exclusive to the Manish Aurora collection!

I love the box too! This has got to be the most elaborate collection ever in my two year addiction of MAC! :D

Check out the lovely dotted swirls in the box! :D

Texture:
As with MAC blushes, the texture for this one is really smooth!! :D

Time Test:
This blush (being a sheertone), lasts about 6 hours on my cheeks before it starts to fade, which is ok.

Price & Availability:
This product is priced at RM70 / US$18, which is the same as the regular blushes. This shade is part of the permenant line, so no worries if you missed out on this collection! This special packaging is LE though! This blush is available at all MAC counters / Pro Stores / Maccosmetics.com

Usage:
I use this blush whenever i don't want to look to made up! It's really natural!! :)

My $0.02:
I never thought i could ever wear a pink blush! I always stuck to peachy blushes like my life depended on them, lol! I fell in love with this immediately when i first used it!! It looks really pretty on and oh so natural!! This, along with the Blooming blush from the Cult of Cherry collection has to be the best blushes of this year!! :D

In a Nutshell:

A lovely pink blush that looks really natural on!

Likes: Lovely packaging and color!
Gripes: None!
Repurchase: Yes!

Rating:
4.5 Stars ! Near HG Stuff!!

  1. Hullo Jenn! Long time didn't leave my comments. Manish Arora's collection is so nice. I think I missed the boat though. Heard it's out in SG for some time, only available at 2 counters islandwide and I didn't have time to drop by any one of them. =(
I am overseas right now, so by the time I return week of 3 Nov, what are the chances? (gives an anguished wail)...

  2. Oh yes, mind if you tell me how much the Shadow palette is? Need to know how much extra I am paying for. Maybe I can buy it online/ Ebay if I am desperate. =P

  3. Hey girl!! yeah!! it's been a really long time!! hehe!! no worries lah!! i know you're swamped with work!! :D yeah i heard it's snapped up in SG already, but maybe you can checkout the forums / ebay if anybody is selling theirs! i bought mine for 2500Rs (about SG$88), but if i'm not mistaken it was selling in SG for $76 :)

Don't worry, most of the shadows in this palette are permenent, so you can always get them separately!! Save your $$$ for the year end palettes!! :D i know i'm going gaga over their lip sets! :P

do take care and have a safe trip back home my friend! :)

  5. The mineralized blushers this round are pretty!! I love Dainty!! it's really natural!! They're worth buying actually, but out of so many shades, probably only a few (like Dainty, Gentle, and maybe Nuance) can be used by us fair skinned ladies lor! :) I know the rest can be used with a light hand for a natural result, but that's just too much work! lol!!

wahhh!! backup for the 187!! Do i hear *ka ching!!* lol! :D

    ooohhh yes i am! ;)
