Product Description:

A peach powder that radiates sunshine!

Dust this peaches and cream powder lightly all over your complexion then brush on the apples of your cheeks for a warm, happy glow. The sheer peach shade looks beautiful on all complexions, and the delicate peach scent will leave you radiating sunshine! It also looks great dusted on the eye lids.

Actual Product Pic:

Pigmentation & Color (Plus Swatches! :D):

Benefit Georgia is a light peach color that goes on rather matte (although there are tiny, barely noticable shimmers in the pan!). It is very, very sheer and the swatches below are achieved with 7 grand swipes!

And if you're wondering how different this is from the other Benefit powders, here's a comparison:

This powder comes in a cute little box complete with a brush and a plastic tray! I know alot of people complain about the box, but i like it (partly because i don't travel with this blush as well, so i don't have problems with it's bulkiness)! haha! :D

The brush that comes with this powder is quite scratchy, so i do not recommend using this!! Use a big fluffy brush instead! :)

Texture & Scent:
This powder is not very finely milled, but it's nothing a good buffer brush cannot fix :) The scent however, is DIVINE!! It does smell like peaches and cream! :D

Time Test:
Bad, bad! This hardly lasts 4 hours (in fact i think i starts to fade within 2!), and my face is not even oily to begin with!

Price & Availability:
This product is priced at RM129 / US$28, which is a little more expensive than your regular blushes, although you get quite alot of product in a box. It's available at all Benefit counters and on

This does show up as a blush on my face, but not without scratching my cheek silly! So i usually dust this onto my forehead, cheeks and nose and it really perks up my complexion! :D I sometimes also use this powder to tone down over the top blushes.

My $0.02:
I'm on the fence with how i feel about this powder actually. While i love the cute packaging, the wonderful scent, and most of all how beautifully it perks up my complexion, the lousy lasting power of this powder left me wondering if i would ever repurchase! Still, i think it's a must have for every makeup addict, but if you're looking for something with more bang for your buck, do stay away from this (and every other Benefit product available as well... they can be really addictive!!)!!

In a Nutshell:

Sunshine in a box for me! It perks up my complexion beautifully, but doesn't last long!

Likes: Perfect highlighter, wonderful scent, lovely packaging
Gripes: The lousy brush, Doesn't last long!
Repurchase: Still undecided, but it's a NO for now.

3 Stars Nice to have but not a must-have! :)

  1. lol i bought benefit's thrrob becos of its cute little boxy packaging..and most importantly it's in pink! haha.. like your georgia, thrrob is very sheer as well..normally i applied it after benetint or posietint =)

  2. icic!! Thrrrob is in my to-buy list as well! :D Is it very shimmery?? That's what i heard! :)

  3. the shimmer is fairly acceptable or should i say hardly noticeable.. but be prepared that it might be much sheerer than that of georgia or even dandelion.. or probably like u say the brush just didn't work well with the product as i've never tried using other brushes..

  4. icic... good to hear that the shimmers isn't OTT! looks like i'll be getting this anyway! hehe! wah, you have both Benetint & Posietint! I'm planning to get this also once i'm back in Malaysia! hehe! :Dg
