My $0.02:

Pigmentation & Color (Plus Swatches! :D):
These Lip Blooms come in two colors: 01 Tulip Peach, which is a beige-gy peach and 02 Soft Rose, which is a mid red with slight orange tones. Both Lip Blooms have slight shimmers that are not obvious. These Lip Blooms go on quite sheer (not very pigmented). Unfortunately, they do not seem to flatter my skin tone (NC20 / 25) when used alone.

On my rather pigmented lips:

Side by Side Comparison:

The Applicator & Packaging:

The applicator SUCKS big time! It is a rubbery slant tip with a hole in the middle to dispense the gloss. Most of the time the tip just scrapes off whatever gloss / lipstick you’ve applied, and deposits a huge blob at the end. I suggest using a lip brush when applying this – it makes life so much easier :P These glosses come in a see through squeeze tube which requires some practice before getting a hang of how hard you should squeeze to get the right amount of gloss on your lips.

Texture & Taste:
UPDATE: i tried wearing this over lipstick and it doesn't dry my lips out anymore! :)

This gloss is runnier than your usual gloss, and is not sticky at all. Downside is that it is VERY DRYING! Within 2 hours of wearing my lips were flaking and crying out for me to remove it :P I’ll remember to wear some lipbalm beneath this the next time! It has a rather strong (but pleasant) passionfruit fragrance, but no taste.

Time Test:
These Lip Blooms lasted about 2 hours on me before I need to reapply, which is slightly shorter than most other lipglosses.

Price & Availability:
These glosses are priced at RM49.90 each for a tube which is slightly over 5 inches long, which I consider to be quite expensive for TBS standards though the amount of gloss given is generous. They’re available at all TBS stores,, and through TBS home consultants. These are Limited Edition.

Since these glosses don’t really flatter my skin tone when worn alone, I’ll probably pair them over some matching lipstick :)

In a Nutshell:

UPDATE: I wore this over a lipstick and it doesn't dry out my lips anymore! Up-ed rating from 2 stars to 2.5 stars :)

I regret getting these glosses! For that price, they don’t deliver :(

Likes: Hygienic squeeze tube, no yucky taste, not sticky
Gripes: VERY DRYING, lousy applicator, needs frequent touch ups, expensive
Repurchase: No

2 2.5 Stars Pass but pretty mediocre!
